FinalB Geometry dash private server

uhh for some reason im on pc and its saying that msvcr100.dll is missing

This is not different from original gd, why would you create your own server if geometry dash already has a server thats fast and cool?

To the people saying this is virus,

I have a simple, but short answer, is it not.

I am not quite sure who is spreading these rumours, but I am pretty confident I could be acquainted with whoever this is. Please, run the app through all the anti-viruses in the world, it will come out as negative... There is no reason to include malware inside this simple game, some morals people!

And a quick update for the people in this dying community.. :( ... I am quite busy with life right now and am unable to provide updates to this game, excuse me for this but the servers will continue to remain online, no worries about that :)

msvcr100.dll does not exist at all i cant use it

yo, i'm making a review of this so you don't have to panic wondering things like "iS ThiS a ViRuS?!?!"

ive got it in a nice, neat format for the ppl that just want a quick rundown of everything:
-addressing the 'virus' issue (paragraph 1)
-what i like (paragraph 2)
-what i don't like as much (paragraph 3)
-summary of likes and dislikes (paragraphs 2 and 3 summarized in a list of pros and cons)
-summary of the summary (cuz yes) :P

first thing's first. this is not a virus. just because "windows defended your pc" or whatever the message is for non-windows users doesn't mean it's a virus. (btw for windows users when you come across that popup, press "read more" and a button called "run anyway" will show up. you're welcome :])

second, i have to commend the effort put into this. i don't know much about private gd servers, but this as a standalone is very cool to me. the choice of icons are actually fire and the fact that this very similarly reflects the main game is a positive. i also like the fact that you can basically import any level from the main game into the private server (slight assumption, didn't go through it too well)

however, the one caveat is the fact that, whether for legal reasons, underdevelopment, or simply just the fact that it's impossible, it is a bummer that it doesn't connect to the gd servers. accounts and levels on geometry dash and the finalb gdps do not mix, so you cant use your gd account to login to the private server. this also means that any stats on your gd account do not transfer. that being said, stats aren't really necessary in these kinda of private servers, so this caveat isn't even that big of a deal.

basic takeaway from this:

pros:
-free
-looks like geometry dash aesthetically
-not a virus
-most features in gd working intended in finalb
-(could be a bug) forgiving character limit [context: i went a few characters overboard on a comment and it still sent]
-levels uploaded here are shared within a community for everyone to play (making levels is appreciated, as ive noticed as of now theres not as much content as i would've felt comfortable with. in any case, tsunami's tryna import a lotta levels to the server to try to fix that. good job tsunami 👍)

cons:
-no direct connection to gd servers
-stats cannot be transferred from gd to private server

before i end my review, id just like to condense everything into 4 words: this is worth downloading

hey! this is better than the original geometry dash all the things are free and the level customization is cool!! you don't have to keep paying for the servers tho. It's hard times rn.

I don't understand why would you need a separate server for a game like GD.  And what I don't understand even more, is why are you asking money for features from the base game? That's very suspicious.

Great job. I do have some concerns, however.  Is this a complete re-code? or did you just edit the original files.  If you are not-for-profit, why should you pay for any premium account to do the standard gd account stuff.  In my opinion, it is not honest.  This is just my concerns, however.  Please get back to me if you want, and please don't take my comment as offensive.  Thanks.
